The Festival of Arts is an annual showcase of several types of art from students in the CNUSD school district. Students can express their creativity and talents in several different forms of art including fine art, ceramics, graphic design, photography, film, theater, vocal music, instrumental music, and dance. If you enjoy sharing your art and talents, consider submitting a piece for the Festival of the Arts.

Art is a great way for students to share their talents and freely express themselves. Art can be crucial to teen growth and development. Giving teens an opportunity to express themselves can reduce stress, improve memory, and help improve their social life. Several studies revealed that students form ages 14 – 16 who participated in two or more semester-long art classes had improved their GPA and received higher grades in language arts and math.
The Festival of the Arts will take place at Circle City Center, 365 N Main Street, Corona, California. The event will take place from Friday, May 2 from 3 – 7 pm and Saturday, May 3 from 11 am – 4 pm. For those interested in submitting their art, you are able to drop off your piece at the Circle City Center on April 28 and 29 from 8 am – 5 pm.
Several students in the CNUSD school district look forward to attending the event and sharing their artwork. Emily Voong, a student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, states,
“The festival of the arts is a great time for anyone to show their creativity and talents through various forms of art. The Festival of the Arts can provide students with the opportunity to get creative and boost confidence through different art styles.”
Another student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Remy Tonthat, agrees with Voong. She states,
“I think the festival of the arts can benefit students by increasing creativity and having students express themselves through art. I think the festival is a good opportunity for students to display their works and have others be inspired by it.”
