A student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Melody Tsao believes tutoring can be very helpful by giving students extra practice. Tsao states:
“I personally think tutoring is super beneficial for those who need it because students are able to learn by being taught in a way that they can comprehend while also not being afraid to ask questions. I definitely do think tutoring is effective since it gives students extra practice and learning.”
Belinda Nguyen, a student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, states:
“If someone is struggling with a certain topic or wants general help with school, tutoring seems like a great option that can help them improve or keep up their grades. Sometimes it can really help to have something explained a second time by someone new. Tutoring can be very helpful in most cases, but it is essential that the person tutoring and the person being tutored are able to communicate well.”
Nguyen believes tutoring can be a great opportunity for those struggling in certain topics and later states:
“I think it’s great that the school offers this opportunity to students, and I personally know a lot of people who’ve benefited from it.”
