On February 28, the theater will be hosting its exciting spring showcase. This year’s theme is Fairy Tales, and I have been excited about it this whole month.
Throughout my three years in high school, the theater has always been entertaining with its shows and has great actors and producers. I am sure they will have a great showcase this year led by their teacher, Mr. Ireland. The cast has been preparing for an incredible event by practicing and rehearsing until they get it right. In addition to great acting, the theater department has also to make costumes and props.
The showcase’s success also involves advertising and ensuring all staff, students, and their families are aware of the event details. Supporting our schoolś theater team is important, if you are available on February 28th, make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time and support our classmates!
The audience will enjoy the show, cheering and seeing how much better they got throughout the years.
I interviewed David Ireland the theater teacher. about the showcase, and how he has prepared for it he said.
¨I am feeling great I am excited about our spring showcase. It is at 7 pm, and we are excited to have everybody come out and see it. The kids have been working hard and hopefully, a lot of people will come to see it! I am proud of them.”
Another person I interviewed was Ella Gauthier, a freshman who is in the spring showcase. I asked her how is she and her crew ready for the spring showcase and what they have been doing to prepare, she said.
¨We have been working on our numbers, and everybody who is doing duets and solos is working on it. And we are prepared.”
The spring showcase is up and ready!
That concludes my story on the spring showcase hopefully people will go and see it, and I wish the theater the best! Thank you everybody for reading see you later bye. 🙂
