The Department of Homeland Security is only banning large electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, cameras, electronic games, etc. Phones and medical devices are not included in the ban. The passengers will not be allowed to carry their electronic devices into the cabin’s luggage. Passengers are to stow their devices in the checked-in baggage. The restriction is meant to help prevent terrorist attacks on airlines.
