Friday, March 17th the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast premiered across theaters. The live action remake was true to the tale as old as time, following the plot and development of characters.

The cinematography is what truly stood out, especially during the iconic dance scene between Belle and the Beast. The set production and costumes stayed true to the classic because of Belle’s extravagant, yellow dress and the Beast’s castle. As for the CGI characters of the Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip, they came to life thanks to the CGI and the actors voicing the characters. The soundtrack pulled all the scenes together as well.

Overall, Beauty and the Beast was truly beautiful from the characters and plot. If you have the chance, make sure to see it!
