This November, Eleanor Roosevelt’s theater program announced the production of “Clue”, a comedic murder mystery, based off the classic board game and film from 1985. Theater is currently working on production and rehearsing for the upcoming play.

It is set in a mansion on a stormy night, when six guests gather at a dinner party to find that their host, Mr. Boddy, had been murdered. Each guest, with their own motives, must find out who the real killer is.
To anyone interested in seeing the production, Mikayla Friestad, a member of Eleanor Roosevelt’s theater program, stated,”I would say that if you’re interested in coming to see ‘Clue’, come see ‘Clue’! It’s such a fun play and even if you’ve seen it before it keeps you on the edge of your seat.”
The casting for “Clue” is very crucial. The cast typically includes the iconic characters Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Mr. Green, Professor Plum, Mrs. Peacock, and Mrs. White. The importance of the character’s comedic timing is critical. Each actor must embody the character’s motivations for the murder of Mr. Boddy. Students are excited to see theater’s adaptation of this play. Student at Eleanor Roosevelt, Belinda Nguyen stated, “I am excited to see theater’s take on ‘Clue’. It was a lot of fun seeing ‘Shrek: The Musical’ last year and I can’t wait for the next play.”
