Homecoming is a special event at ERHS. Students purchase a ticket to attend and it is very much like a dance party.

The ERHS 2023 homecoming event was held September 30.

On that night, girls put on beautiful makeup and especially beautiful dresses. Boys fix their hair, and put on handsome suits. Everyone danced, sang, communicated, and took photos together.

The school arranged the venue in advance, by setting up the stage, adjusting the sound, and hiring professionals to take charge of the event as leaders. The school also invited some outside businesses, such as ice cream trucks, cotton candy trucks, and tattoo shop clerks (temporary of course), to come to the school to provide students with food and fun.

The school also provided tables, chairs, and singing equipment on campus to facilitate students’ rest and entertainment. During the event, LED lights were used to project some animations and light on the walls. This made the school very dazzling and beautiful.

Students not only had the opportunity to make many new friends through this activity, but also feel amazing and happy. Many people attended the homecoming event that day.

ERHS students Zoey Li and Charleen Zhu were both in attendance at the 2023 Homecoming event and shared their positive experience.

“I like this activity very much,” Li said. “I think taking photos with friends is particularly memorable because this represents youth.”

“This activity was very fun!” Zhu said. “I also sang on stage with my good friends. I hope to attend this event a second time.”

It seems that the students liked this activity very much. Homecoming is lively and very suitable for young people. I hope schools can hold more such activities.
