The ERHS Girl’s Soccer team is having an ongoing Snap Fundraiser starting September 14, running all the way through October 13.

This fundraiser utilizes an online fundraising platform. It relies on the girls involved in the program sending out information, texts, and emails to different people asking them to make a donation. The players can send this information out to anyone they want– parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends, and other family members. The group goal for this fundraiser as a whole is $15,000. The current amount raised is over $13,000!

The money that the players raise through this is going towards supporting the soccer program. The soccer program at ERHS use several different pieces of equipment.

“Donations will be used to update equipment, soccer balls, new team jerseys, player bags, goals, nets, pinnies, and cones,” says the official website for the fundraiser. The website for the fundraiser is very easy to navigate, and user-friendly.

This Snap Fundraiser is not the only fundraiser that the soccer team has done. The team has also sold boxes of World’s Finest Chocolate bars to raise money for their program, and they will possibly do more World’s Finest chocolate fundraisers in the future.

“I like selling the chocolates, because everybody likes those, and everyone buys them,” said Maddie Zepeda, a freshman in the soccer program.

The ERHS girl’s soccer team is anticipating their upcoming season!

“I’m excited, it starts this winter, and I think that we have really good girls who have come this year. I’m excited to see what this season holds,” said Allison Gonzalez, a sophomore in the soccer program.

Girl’s soccer at ERHS is a winter sport, with games starting in December. Keep an eye out for upcoming matches and other fundraisers, and be sure to support our incredible Mustang soccer players!
