Boys’ Varsity Basketball Headed to Open Division Playoffs

Ravyn Warner, Chief Sports Editor

The 2016-2017 basketball season has been a remarkable one for the boys’ varsity basketball team of Eleanor Roosevelt High. The team pulled off a 10 and 0 record, winning league champions for the second year in a row, and an 18 and 6 record overall. The group of talented young men were named the #1 basketball team in the Inland Empire and were also selected to play in the CIF Southern Section Open-Division playoffs.

This upcoming weekend our  Mustangs will join on the Inland Sports Show on Fox Sports Radio 1350AM KTDD with Pep Fernandez to elaborate and discuss their exceptional winning streak.

Next Friday, February 17, the boys will host Redondo Union High School for the first round of playoffs. Make sure you go out and support our boys at 7 pm!
