Announcement: School Reopening Information

Graphic organizer sent out by school with Reopening Plan

Brianne Leber, Chief Editor

It is a crazy time right now and not everyone has all the information, but our paper will try to give updates regarding reopening whenever we have confirmed information.

From our current understanding, students will be placed into a cohort. You will receive emails at a later date with your cohort and it will make the graphic organizer below a lot easier to follow. Your cohort will determine when you are remote learning or on campus. For example, students in cohort A will attend school in the mornings on Monday. The rest of the week, cohort A will attend remote meetings in the afternoon.

It will be a two week system much like our block schedule from the 2018-2019 school year. Students will start week one attending their period 1, 3, and 5 either online or on campus depending on cohort. The day after will be 2, 4, and 6. This cycle will repeat. This is a two week system because it will take two weeks for your Monday classes to be 1, 3, and 5 again. There currently is no day where a students will attend all classes.

This all seems very confusing now, but it will be much easier in practice. Remember to be safe. We got this.
