On March 21st, Eleanor Roosevelt held the first ever Mr. and Miss. Mustang Pageant. Each club and sport nominated one girl and one boy to represent their club or sport in the pageant. Both nominees competed in the running for the title of Mr. or Miss. Mustang.

The head of the Pageant was Jamie Muller. Mrs. Muller said “overall, it was a great first Pageant. We have lots to learn and we can only improve!” After many people having fun, she also said “the best part of the pageant was seeing the diversity of the participants. We had representatives from all kinds of clubs and sports. It was really cool!”

You may ask what was the process of being selected into the pageant? Mrs. Muller said “We have each coach, advisor nominate two representatives from their club. They had to be a senior, 2.0 GPA and an active member of their program.”

This year being the first year, there is the question if there will be more years to come of the pageant, which Mrs Muller responded with, “Definitely yes, this is an awesome event that has to continue.”

This pageant was a success and congrats to the new Mr. and Miss. Mustang!
