We all love our hilarious OG YouTuber, Lilly Singh  (IISuperwomanII)  and hearing that she will be hosting NBC’s Late Night Show just made all of our lives! The network announced on March 21, 2019 that this YouTube star will take over Carson Daly’s old late-night timeslot after 17 years and 2,000 episodes. “A Little Late With Lilly Singh” will be produced by Universal Television and Unicorn Island Productions at 1:30 am at the beginning of September this year. Singh will also executive produce and Polly Auritt will co-executive produce to create a memorable late night now for millions.

“Lilly is truly a star and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our NBC family,” said Doug Vaughan, Executive Vice President, Special Programs and Late Night, NBC Entertainment. “She is a multi-talented performer who will surely have a great rapport with not only all her guests but also with our devoted late-night audience. We can’t wait to get started.” This will also make Singh the only female to host a late night show currently!

Alongside of being an international YouTube sensation with millions supporting her, she has also gained credits from being on popular movies and tv shows such as “Fahrenheit 451”, “Bad Moms”, “Ice Age: Collission Course”, “Bright Features” and “The Get Down”.  “An Indian-Canadian woman with her own late night show? Now that is a dream come true,” Singh mentions. “I’m thrilled to bring it to life on NBC, and I hope my parents consider this to be as exciting as a grandchild.”

Although Daly’s show will be greatly missed, we all know that Singh’s never-ending in-studio interviews and pre-taped comedy sketches will fulfill his absence.
