Disneyland Builds Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
It’s no secret that Disneyland is “the happiest place on Earth” and now, the amusement park just got better. This past month, both Disney parks announced that they would be building a brand new Star Wars centered attraction and fans are hyped up for May 31st, and August 29th, when the attractions are estimated to be completed and opened to the public.
Disneyland and Disney World are two of the biggest and best amusement parks in the world, filled with whimsical scenery, fairy-like attractions that bring out the youth in every adult no matter how old; in addition to exotic foods that send your taste buds flying out of this world. It’s no surprise that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be nothing short of incredible. The Disney franchise released a sneak peak video at the attraction layout, features included, and rides to be expected, as well as perfectly themed merchandise to accompany the opening of the new additions to the Disney parks. Claire Wetterau, ERHS junior and massive Disney fan, says that though she is not a fan of Star Wars, she is “excited for the new attraction” and “for all of the themed food they are going to have.”
The newest Star Wars attraction will offer features within, some of which include restaurants and eating hangouts such as “Oga’s Cantina,” the “Milk Stand” that serves Luke Skywalker’s famous blue green milk, and “Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.” Additionally, there will be merchandise centers entitled “Black Spire Outpost Shops” appropriately named, the “Creature Stall,” “Black Spire Outfitters,” Toydarian Toymaker,” and “Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiques.”
