Jussie Smollet Attack Update

As we were all informed, “Empire” actor Jussie Smollet was recently attacked by two Chicago men who yelled racist and homophobic insults while simultaneously abusing him by putting a rope around his neck and throwing an unknown substance at him. This case was in the eye of the media and Chicago Police Department for quite sometime now and the outcome of it all is absolutely surprising.

Apparently, several sources from Chicago’s Police Department told Fox 32 that Smollett staged the whole thing as a huge publicity act and paid the two men, who were actually his brothers, each a large chunk of money ($3,500). There is even evidence that the receipt for the rope used around Smollet’s neck was in the possession of one of his brother’s and it was bought at Ace Hardware in Chicago. Since the two brothers cooperated with the police department, they let them go with the charge of a battery. ” We are not racist. We are not homophobic and we are not anti- Trump. We were born and raised in Chicago and are American citizens”, the Osundairo brothers said in a statement. Smollet, on the other hand, has been charged with a felony disorderly conduct for filing a false attack, which could put him behind bars for 1-3 years.

The whole reason why he did this hatred act against himself was to promote his career, which he successfully did with a huge price to pay.
