Anthony Davis has requested a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans. The talk of Anthony Davis getting traded started in early 2018 with pictures that feature him and Lebron potentially talking about the trade.

The Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics are competing for him. The Lakers have youth, but they are average. However, the Lakers have a lot more money than the Celtics. On the other hand the Boston Celtics, have a very talented youth squad that could be beneficial to the Pelican roster.

Players like Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram have been up for discussion by the Lakers, but the Celtics have a very young and talented player named Jason Tatum. Jason Tatum is 20 years old and has a very solid stat sheet with him averaging 15 points per game.

But what’s holding them back is Kyrie Irving who is trying to get around the trade deadline. Kyrie openly commented that he would be “open to playing with Lebron again.”

There are some fans from Roosevelt who think that the Anthony Davis trade is not worth it. Students like Marco Esquivel and Ghassan Abdulhadi think that the youth of the team should be preserved. They stated, ” The Lakers should keep Lonzo and Hart because of the availability of youth players on the team which is a few in numbers. They are risking there younger players on the team for Anthony Davis.”

Abdulhadi later commented, “Kyrie is going to stay on the Celtics. There is no way that the Celtics will risk a player of his ability, to leave the organization.”

For now Anthony Davis has until February seventh to make his decision. Do you think Anthony Davis will go to the Lakers or will he go to another team? Comment down below your thoughts!
