With a new year coming, the movie industry will be packed with many blockbusters planned for next year. The one many Marvel fans seemed to most excited for is the newest Avengers movie, titled Endgame.

Starring the original cast from the first avengers movie, such as Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. It’ll be nice to see the many familiar faces that made the Marvel Cinematic Universe what it is today. As the many films over the past 10 years seem to do phenomenal.  

Much is being dissected from the trailer, with the beginning seeing Tony Stark, stranded in space. Stating that he’ll die because of a lack of oxygen, being held up on a ship for an unknown amount of time, leaving a message in his helmet.

Later the trailer shows the aftermath that Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, leaves on the rest of the surviving members of the Avengers. Many of them mourning the deaths of their friends and family.

The main antagonist, Thanos, seems to be missing, as a scarecrow made from his armor is shown in on of the scenes, then flashing to him walking, wearing a damaged infinity gauntlet.

Jeremy Renner appears in the trailer, not as Hawkeye, but as an alter ego from the comics, Ronin, most likely because the Thanos snap erased his family, but we’ll have to wait and see as nothing is confirmed as of today.

In true Marvel fashion, they have an end credit scene after they reveal to title of the movie. Showing Ant-man, played by Paul Rudd, as the comic relief, showing up mysteriously at the front door of the Avengers HQ, as to no knowledge of how he ended up there, based from the end from ‘Ant-man and the Wasp’. 

This is what some mustangs had to say about the trailer. Daniel Gonzalez, a Junior, says, “It didn’t seem too revealing so it’s a good trailer because the unexpected could happen.”

We don’t know what to expect in the newest installment from the MCU, but it doesn’t stop many people from attempting to predict the outcome. Here are some predictions for the film from some of our fellow Mustangs.

Alexander Lopez, a junior had this to say,“Thanos is going to win again so they can make a third movie.”

Eric Barajas, a junior,  says, “I think they’re gonna time travel to bring back some of the dead avengers.”

We all have our own ideas on what might occur in the film, but till then, we’ll just have to wait and see.
