It has now been a week since the passing of one of our former presidents, George H.W. Bush and it has been a long one for everyone he was close to, especially for his wife and kids. George H.W. Bush served as the 41st of The United States and passed away at the age of 94.

On Thursday morning, December 6, Bush was buried in Texas at his family’s grave site, he was buried beside his wife, Barbara, and their daughter, Robin, who died because of leukemia at the age of 3.

At Texas A&M University there is Bush’ presidential library and museum, it is also home to exhibitions dedicated to him and the former first lady.

Bush has been said to have been one of the most successful foreign- policy presidents and he had steered the US and its allies successfully through the collapse of communism.

Many of the people who were close to Bush had many kind things to say about him in his remembrance.

“He never saw his heroism as being greater than anyone else who has worn the uniform.” Bush’s grandson George P. Bush said this while he delivering a eulogy for his grandfather.

At Bush’s 2nd ceremony held in Texas, he was carried in a train to be taken to his final resting place while people paid their respects to our former president.
