You may or may have not heard that winter formal tickets finally went on sale this Monday and they are available for purchase at the student store or on their website. Winter Formal will be Saturday, December 15 and it will be hosted at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium.  Now to speak towards the prices, there are many people who are having complaints about the ticket prices and how they could be difficult to purchase for the students out there who may want to go but are not able to because of financial issues. It is unfortunate for tickets to start at 70 dollars and 85 the day before and there are reasons why it makes it reasonable for a ticket to cost a lot but it is unfair for those people who want to have that first or last memorable high school experience but cannot because it is too much to afford to buy the ticket, having to get a form of transportation, and even a clean and formal outfit for the day. It also does not make sense for one ticket to be 65-85 dollars, “Can’t get over the fact that @erhsofficial is charging $70 A TICKET FOR WF… what about the seniors who can’t afford it. They can’t make memories and have fun SENIOR YEAR because they can’t afford it… it’s a shame. ” this was posted via twitter the day prices were posted online by a student here. others as well agreed on this opinion and felt the same way because many of us have been talking on how it was not always this expensive for winter formal. Luckily ASB announced they will be having a sale and sell tickets for $60 to everyone, whether or not you have the ASB card, and this sale will be online on Dec. 4th and available at the student store only on the 6th and 7th. Make sure you remember these important dates to purchase your winter formal ticket a cheaper price.
