REI brings back 3 classics in new collection
October 19, 2018
REI just produced it’s Wallace Lake Collection and everyone is pretty excited about it. These pieces are inspired by the outdoors but with more of an everyday feel. Even though REI might seem like a place just for campers and outdoorsmen REI offers many choices in regular clothing and styles. This new collection that REI just launched a limited-edition set of reproduced heritage classics including a replica of REI’s 1972 High Country Parka for men.
Isabelle Portilla, Co-op Brands general manager for apparel stated that, “This collection is stylish and comfortable and designed to wear after a hardcore outdoor adventure, or a weekend with friends at a mountain cabin. It’s also something we will continue to build upon each season.” The collection was named after Wallace Lake in Washington’s Cascade mountain range.
REI’s style attracts many people because the clothing is comfortable while still being able to handle the harsh weather. REI has been around for a very long time, and the quality of there products have only gotten better.
I went around and asked some people for there opinion on REI’s new collection. Kelly Dean, 12 explained that “This collection is so great because its well made but also very comfortable.”
