3- year old boy shows up at Kentucky hospital with human bite marks, bruises, and marijuana in his system. Two people are being held captive for this abuse.

Last week, the boys grandmother and mother brought him into the emergency room showing them the abuse and enlarged pupils. According to the arrest warrant obtained by WDRB , there was accounts of drugs in the boys system including marijuana and methamphetamine causing neurological issues, the state journal reports.

A mother of a 5 year old boy was concerned. ” Were they treating him like a doll? that is horrible and way too much to take in as a 3 year old boy. He probably had no idea what was happening. Those parents were not fit to be parents at all and its hard to believe there are people out there and probably kids going through the same thing as we speak.” said Melissa Dominguez. I then asked a 20 year old who grew up with his parents doing drugs as well. ” I grew up with weed and marijuana, and has seen my parents not at their best, but they never forced it into me. I was around that and couldn’t live there when  was ten I cant imagine three.

The 36 year old mother, Dawn R. turned herself in to the police Sunday. Police later arrested the boyfriend, James Bruce Stratton, in connection with the child abuse. Both are currently at the Franklin county regional jail charged wit child abuse and endangerment.

The boy is staying with family, as child protective services investigates.
