Chula Vista high school recruited other high school students to smuggle drugs from Mexico into the Untied States.
Student Phillip Junior Webb, an 18 year old a senior, recruited students at Castle Park High School to smuggle people and drugs specifically methamphetamine and fentanyl into the country on multiple occasions.
On a Monday, Webb was charged with “conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and smuggling foreign nationals for financial gain.” The students Webb recruited got caught smuggling drugs that were strapped to their bodies over the boarders.
A U.S. Attorney said that “I can assure you Phillip Webb is not the only high school student recruiting other high school students.” Student Wynton Scott said “that’s a bold thing to do “”it’s crazy .” It’s not something you would think about.
