Prom Pep Rally

Prom Pep Rally

As we’re rapidly approaching the end of the school year, there’s a series of events to follow before the year is over. The first event to kickoff the series of end of the year activities was indeed the final spring pep rally! Centered around promoting prom this upcoming weekend, the final pep rally commenced the end of the school year, celebrated the sports seasons, and hyped upperclassmen up for prom.

The rally was spectacular with performaces from cheer/song, kpop, poly, step team, and color guard. In addition to mini games, and spirit point activities, the rally was especially sentimental for the graduating senior class of 2018. It’s an understatement to say the senior class was ecstatic at the rally, as it was the final time they would experience a rally before transitioning out of high school and graduating this spring. “I’m excited to be graduating and this pep rally was a realization that this is really happening soon and we’re really going to be out of here.” Senior Harmony Johnson commented.

“Its a bittersweet thing, coming to this pep rally, and I especially am happy yet sad that this is the last time I’ll experience a high school pep rally. It’s like we’ve been to so many by the time you become a senior that you just become conditioned to going, and you don’t necessarily appreciate them as much until you realize you won’t get too experience it anymore. So I’m definitely taking this last pep rally in, and definitely going to enjoy it to the fullest.”
