On Friday, September 23rd Roosevelt had its Homecoming Game for the 2016-2017 school year! Our football team went against La Quinta. Gaining that win with a score of 27-21, our Mustangs made a comeback at the middle of third quarter. The game, which lasted two hours, also passed onto to overtime since there was a tie at the end of the fourth quarter of the game. Many people thought we were going to lose, but the tables turned and it was an intense game. Congratulations to our Varsity team! Also, come out to our incoming league games! We also had a surprise guest come during one of the “elements” of the game…our own Mayor of Eastvale, Ike Boostma, coming to show his support and spirit! Nevertheless we also had an amazing halftime performance from our Class Council, Dance Team, and Cheer Squad which you can read about in another featured article in Campus News.
