As Hurricane Harvey has many shook, it appears that the legendary celebrity, Janet Jackson, did not let the unfortunate events from Hurricane Harvey stop her and her tour. On Wednesday night, September 6, Janet tweeted that she would be continuing her concert in Houston and that she will have something in stored for the audience.

Jackson would be continuing her tour on Thursday, September 13, at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. However, on Saturday, September 9, she attended a scheduled show for Houston, Texas. Not only did she put on a show for Houston, she arrived earlier in the city on Friday, September 8. She did state before hand that she would be “going to roll in early because [she] wanted to visit some of the shelters” and that she will “not just visit some of the shelters,” but “[will] do something special.”

When Jackson arrived to Texas, a lot of people were excitingly happy. As shown in the picture to the left, she has had a huge affect on the people who are going threw the horrifying weather mishaps. People agree that she is a great woman, and one of Eleanor Roosevelt’s junior students, Aalayah Jones, had a say in Janet’s character as she “is caring” and “a gift to this world.”
