What’s Going on Around the World?

A lot has been going on in the United States this past month, but what about the rest of the world? Here’s a quick recap of what is currently going on:

-The president of Mexico, Enrique Pena Nieto, has cancelled meeting with the US President Donald Trump, due to the confirmation of Trump’s plan to build a wall.

-Turkey soldiers’ extradition is rejected by Greek Supreme Court. The eight men from Turkey were accused of staging a coup last July.

-France has a presidential election coming up April 23, 2017.

– Adama Barrow, Gambia’s newly named president, has returned to his country after the previous one has been exiled.

-Nigerian villagers in Niger Delta attempted to sue Shell for pollution, but is blocked by the court in the UK.

-In regards of the Syrian war, rebels have joined forces against an attack made by Idlib jihadists.

-Famous Pakistan TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain has been banned over an alleged “hate speech.”
