A Ball to Remember

Saturday December 3, 2016 students gathered at the Yorba Linda Community Center for the Winterball themed winter formal. The dance rooms were split from across the venue, varying in music and DJs. In addition to that, there was also a casino room and karaoke room where attendees sang with their friends and/or dates.

The royalty was crowned at 9:30 P.M. The freshman prince was named to be Erick Benas with Raquel Guzman as the princess. Joseph Alvarado was named the sophomore prince and Jasmine Tran was named the sophomore princess. Leonardo Rodriguez and Maddy Ruffin were named the junior prince and princess. And last but not least, John Davis was crowned as winter formal king along with Tiffany Diaz crowned as winter formal queen.

Towards the end of the night, the main dance room got too hot, leading to the venue’s fire alarms to go off. As a result, the music momentarily stopped and attendees began to spread out allowing the room to cool down. The night came to a close with dancing, singing, and heels in hands.
