Coming to HBO, is a continuation based off ending from the graphic novel from Alan Moore, Watchmen.Taking place about 35 years after the events of Watchmen.

The only character from the Watchmen series confirmed appear is  Ozymandias, played by Jeremy Irons, with Regina King playing a character called Angela Abraham, being seen as a vigilante working with the police as well as Tim Blake Nelson playing a character called ‘Looking Glass’, with a character description calling him a psychopath.

Gabriel Palma, a junior at ERHS, says

“I watched the movie, and from that, I think the show is gonna be god, not as good as Game of Thrones, but I look forward to what they do with the show.”

As well as some nods to other character, one prominent that’s feature in the show, is the masked cult. The masks are similar to the main character of the graphic novel and the movie, Rorschach. What the goal of the cult isn’t clear, only that they state the end of the world is coming soon, saying ‘tik tok’ repeatedly.

Palma also says, “I think it’s cool how the police wears masks like the vigilantes in the show. Masks seem like the only way to hide each character identity, and I think it’ll be interesting to see the different masks fighting each other.”
