What is love? To some people, love may be two people walking down the street, hand in hand, and that’s their definition of love. However love is not defined as one thing, and can have ambiguous meanings to different people.

Love can be translated into many things; the love you have not only for a significant other, but the love you have for your family, friends, and even your dogs is all apart of the definition. As February is traditionally a month  where love is emphasized, it shouldn’t be a time where one displays affection to only a significant other, but it should be a reminder to appreciate, and show the love you have for all the people in your life that mean the most to you.

Interviewing Sherman Rendon, a junior, he said, “When I think of love I usually think of like an unconditional sacrifice for that special person that some people have. Like the love I have for my family and close friends.”

So Mustangs, as you find yourself giving love to those around you, try not to forget to give yourself love, and look in the mirror and love the person you’ll soon become.
