The Masked Singer is the latest popular TV series that’s had audiences all throughout the nation buzzing since its premiere.  The show is hosted by Nick  Cannon and the judges on the panel are Jenny McCarthy: an actress , Ken Jeong: a famous comedian and actor, Robin Thicke: a singer, Nicole Scherzinger: a former Pussycat Dolls singer,  and Joel McHale to help the panel of judges guess the masked singers.

The show starts out with twelve famous masked celebrities, and the twelve singers are broken up into two groups of six and then paired up to compete against another singer. All masked singers present a video of hints to help the judging panel guess who they are and after the video, they perform. At the end of the performance, the audience votes on who qualifies and who gets to take off the mask.

*Spoilers ahead*

So far in the show, five stars have been eliminated and had to “take off the mask”. (A phrase commonly said by Nick Cannon.) The first to go was the “hippo”, portrayed by Antonio Brown, the “pineapple”, portrayed by Tommy Chong, the “deer”; (who Augie Gallardo said “in the beginning, I thought it was Payton Manning”) who was Terry Bradshaw, the “poodle” who was Margret Cho, and this week the “unicorn” was unmasked and it was Tori Spelling.

Augie Gallardo also states ” I try to really understands the hints, for example Terry Bradshaw held up a trophy with a football player on it, on two separate occasions. Yet, the judges were convinced he was a fighter because he said he gets knocked down but always gets back up.”
