Football Season Coming To An End

Aurielle Whitehead, Writer

There are many different emotions in the air, as our 2018-2019 Mustangs Football Season is coming to an end. Although our Varsity Football Team lost against Centennial last night, we played a great season. Our Varsity Football Team’s record is two wins and three losses and our Junior Varsity Football Team’s record is four wins and one loss. There are many students here at Eleanor Roosevelt High School that are sad about Football Season ending.

Jared Tolmasoff
Varsity Football Player

Jared Tolmasoff, a Varsity Football Player, stated, “With the amount of progress we have had in being a team and learning to just do our jobs, I believe that we are going to go very deep into playoffs. Hopefully making up for last year’s upset in the first round.

Natalie Troncoso
Varsity Cheerleader

Natalie Troncoso, a junior and also a Varsity Cheerleader, said, “I feel sad because the seniors are leaving and it is really fun cheering for the football players, but I’m also really excited because basketball is coming up along with our new stunt season!

Since Varsity Football is going to Playoffs, there are still a couple of games left to watch! So, good luck to our Mustang Varsity Football Team in the Playoffs!
