Instead of taking your PE credits over the course of two years, four semesters, there are other options you can discuss with your counselor.

Summer School

You can take summer PE for one year by signing up for both sessions in the morning and the afternoon.

From my experience, each session, you run the track and then walk for an hour, play an activity or sport the second hour, and swim the last. You then have lunch between the sessions and then return to the PE area for the next session.

Two sessions are worth one year of PE and it lasts for a month and has to be attended all days of the week.

This frees up an entire period of class for your next year.

0 Period

0 period is every morning of the week regardless of the Even/Odd schedule. It begins at 6:30 am and ends at 7:30 am just as school begins. This method adds an extra period for a student to finish their PE credits.

Extracurricular

Taking any sports or dance will exempt you from PE for every year you take it. Marching Band will exempt you from a semester so students must take band all 4 years of their high school career to cover two years of PE.
